Hello from Washington!!!
Hello dear family and friends.
We made it home safely and with very little interference from the newest addition. She did really well on the flights home and only screamed the last 20 minutes of landing home (she'd had enough by then, and so had we).
We are all alive and well...well sort of. Jet lag has hit in full force so we've been a little non-existent while we are trying to get our feet on the ground.
I will post pictures tomorrow of our time here at home.
And...from this point on, please return your sights to our original blog Abigail's Journey to follow along in our journey as a family of 6 now!!!

We made the paper!!!
We made the paper!!!
We are almost famous here in China.

Check out the link FAMOUS IN CHINA. The artical talks about the flooding and how we were helping each other walk to our destination.
We did a bit of shopping today and lots of walking around. We go to the pearl market tomorrow and then to our swearing in ceremony at the U.S. Consolate. This is the last thing that we need to do here in China and then we get to come home!!! We are all ready to come home.

My two beautiful girls in my life!!!!! I love the RED!!

Happy Birthday Abigail
Yes, it's true Abigail is 1 years old today!!!!
We are blessed to truly have a very happy baby. Now don't get me wrong she has her not happy moments but don't we all. Her little giggle and laugh is so contagious that you just can't help but laugh with her which makes her laugh even more. She seems to be pretty easy going and loves the boys when they aren't pestering her.

And to celebrate she is taking a more than 2 hour nap! whooohooo!!! Which makes up for the half hour nap from yesterday.
Here is some video of her cake; both eating and wearing it.

The edge of the Typhoon
Well, we woke up to flooding this morning here. Good thing we went swimming last night because the pool were green with flood water. The boys were bummed but they are making the best of it.
We walked, yes walked, in calf deep water to get to our medical examination this morning!
Good thing we got those shots!!

We tried not to think about what was in the water but we did see some pretty big worms! This just about sent Ruth over the edge because she just knew they were coming to get her.

By all weather reports the Typhoon is going to miss us. We will get the edge of it for the next 24 to 48 hours. It was actually hailing a minute ago against my window. I was wondering why I brought that jacket. Yesterday we left Chongqing and 92 degrees and 55% humidity. All you did was sweat and now it is muggy and wet and 82 degrees.
We did stop by Starbucks on the way back to the hotel to get a drink because Ruth earned it. But her Green Tea soy latte just didn't cut it!
Oh to have a Chai tea latte with soy. No Water, No foam and 175 degrees! Maybe when we get back!

Travel Day to Guangzhou
Yesterday was a travel day to Guangzhou for the last leg of our journey.
It also was Noah's birthday and we celebrated with some cake and swimming in the pool here at the White swan hotel.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BIG BOY!!! 12 YEARS OLD!
Abigail did great on her first airplane ride. Thankfully there were 10 babies on the flight so when Abigail did cry it she wasn't the only one. They all took turns crying at different times.

Couldn't Resist!
Good morning from the Mommy!
Yes...it's really me, in living person too, can you believe it! It's Monday morning here in Chongqing, our last full day here! We've had Abigail in our possession now for 5 1/2 days and she is becoming more and more a part of our family each and every day! We kiss and hug her constantly, though we are convinced that she may not have gotten a lot of that in the orphanage as she is somewhat resistant. In due time right?!
Last night we were able to celebrate Alyzabeth's 2nd birthday with her family! What a beautiful little girl she is and what an extraordinary cake too! I'm sure her daddy will post some video of it sometime today so if you get the chance, stop by and see the party fun. You'll probably catch a glimpse or two of the Webb family as well (thanks Ford!!!)
As for this photo...well I couldn't resist (not ment to offend anyone, just all in fun!)
Well, breakfast is calling, so tata for now!Baby Cam!
We had a good day today! Everyone is doing great. Each day we do just a bit better than the day before. Today was a relax day... nothing planned for us. We did some shopping and watched a movie on the laptop.
Here is a fun crawling video.

12th china chongqing landscape metropolis tourism festival
Last night we were all invited to the 12th China Chongqing landscape metropolis tourism festival. We have been watching them build this humongous stage all week. The head guy from the tourism department invited us to watch the show and gave us seats. Right in the front row!!!
I don't think it was by accident that all these white people with Chinese babies were in the front row watching a tourism festival.

It was very entertaining even though we couldn't understand what was being said. But I can tell you that the political speeches here sound pretty much the same as back home.

Being in the front row you can't even imagine how loud it was. It was so loud that the babies only made it through the second or third performance and then people started bailing out. But not the Webb boy's we stayed for the whole thing!!!
It was a good thing because Tanner got interviewed for the News CQTV.

Tanner: America
Reporter: How do you like Chongqing?
Tanner: It's Great!!!! (With a big smile)

Boy's day
Yesterday the boys and I went with another Dad and his 6 yr old son to have "boy day" as his son put it. We found this crazy park to go to called. Fantawild Sci-fi theme park!!! link in case you are curious.
We took a taxi ride to get there, which was a wild ride just by itself and was a lot cheaper!
We drive up to this huge parking lot, think disneyland parking, and see the front gate but the place is empty. But it's boy day and we are game for anything. We pay for our ticket and head in to only find the place kind of dark and we don't see very many people. In fact I think there were only about 20 people TOTAL in the entire park!!!
We had our own tour guide that led us to each ride. Basically they were leading everyone to the next ride. I think they were opening the rides as we went to them.
Tanner on the Merry go Round - double decker!!!
This was the "Origin's of life" 4D show. It was both entertaining and educational! Now if it wasn't in Chinese we would have been more educated. What's 4D you ask?? Well think 3D, thus the glasses but the chairs move and they spit water on you and things tickle your legs when the squid swim by. Yep, I jumped and screamed!
Yes, this is a rollercoaster that we rode in China!!! this one spun you around and gave you whiplash and cracked your back at the sametime.
At the Sci-fi show, how they make special effects. They grabbed Dalton and Tanner to be volunteers in the show. The boys said they were saying something to them but they couldn't make it out. But they handed Dalton an Army outfit and Tanner a Superman outfit and they were ready to go. Dalton was in front of a green screen sitting in an army jeep pretending to fire a gun. And Tanner they had him stand and look up like he is flying and added him to the Superman movie, i am sure they have paid the royalties to use the footage.
By far the best attraction was called the mysterious west show. It was an old indian man talking in chinese telling about the old west! I love this country.
All in all the 8 attractions were hilarious to say the least and was 3 hours well spent!

Formula
I know a lot of you are worried about the formula issue here in China. Our agency is on top of it and has advised us as to which formula is good to use. Abigail has always used the good formula even in the orphanage.
thanks for your concern, we are all over it.

Grins and Giggles
This was breakthrough day!
She is very gibber jabbery all the time.
Smiles and Giggles and I have to say that I am completely captured by her!
I think I am in serious trouble.
