The edge of the Typhoon

Well, we woke up to flooding this morning here. Good thing we went swimming last night because the pool were green with flood water. The boys were bummed but they are making the best of it.
We walked, yes walked, in calf deep water to get to our medical examination this morning!
Good thing we got those shots!!We tried not to think about what was in the water but we did see some pretty big worms! This just about sent Ruth over the edge because she just knew they were coming to get her.

By all weather reports the Typhoon is going to miss us. We will get the edge of it for the next 24 to 48 hours. It was actually hailing a minute ago against my window. I was wondering why I brought that jacket. Yesterday we left Chongqing and 92 degrees and 55% humidity. All you did was sweat and now it is muggy and wet and 82 degrees.
We did stop by Starbucks on the way back to the hotel to get a drink because Ruth earned it. But her Green Tea soy latte just didn't cut it!
Oh to have a Chai tea latte with soy. No Water, No foam and 175 degrees! Maybe when we get back!
