12th china chongqing landscape metropolis tourism festival

Last night we were all invited to the 12th China Chongqing landscape metropolis tourism festival. We have been watching them build this humongous stage all week. The head guy from the tourism department invited us to watch the show and gave us seats. Right in the front row!!!
I don't think it was by accident that all these white people with Chinese babies were in the front row watching a tourism festival.

It was very entertaining even though we couldn't understand what was being said. But I can tell you that the political speeches here sound pretty much the same as back home.

Being in the front row you can't even imagine how loud it was. It was so loud that the babies only made it through the second or third performance and then people started bailing out. But not the Webb boy's we stayed for the whole thing!!!

It was a good thing because Tanner got interviewed for the News CQTV.
Reporter: Where are you from?
Tanner: America
Reporter: How do you like Chongqing?
Tanner: It's Great!!!! (With a big smile)
I am sure he will be on all of their tourism brochures from now on.

How exciting! I'd love to see a photo of Tanner in a Chinese newspaper -- or on tv -- wouldn't that be cool!

Sounds like you are seeing the highlights, that's for sure.

Oh, we just got back from taking the boats out at the cottage, drove in the driveway to find out that we'd been T.P'd -- the boys thought it was hysterical (and then they had to clean up the Charmin!)
