Grandma is doing great! She has been a big help with our boys as well as others on the trip also.
Here is the Panda.... this is pretty much it. Sit and eat bamboo and then eat bamboo and sit. They are cute though.
In this video the Chinese ladies are telling Ruth that she was smothering the baby because it was so hot in Chongqing. And that she shouldn't have dressed her so much because it was hot. They also didn't like the snugly pack that Ruth was using because the baby should be on your hip. The gal from our group is explaining to her that it's OK. I pretty much just smile and nod. This video is called the Panda Dance!!!
I will try and get more up later.

Fun videos (I knew the "clothing police" were out in full force in cooler weather -- but I had no idea they worked in the summer!).
Yep, pandas a pretty boring creatures -- good thing your boys have those nifty swords to occupy them while you're watching the pandas! Remember....the swords go in CHECKED LUGGAGE -- not carry on! (I told my boys not to get too attached to their swords and knives, because I didn't expect them to make it home -- but they did!).
Keep up the fun posts with lots of pictures -- we enjoy them!
BTW Dad just looked over my shoulder at the "clothing police" video and said, "why don't we have any video like that in China?" Hmmmm.....
I love it...smile and nod!
I think the boys will have to give us some Panda dance lessons...they've got the moves down perfectly;)
"Nod and Smile!" that is gonna be my response at work now. :-)
Love the videos and pictures.
I am actually getting up earlier so I can check to see if you have posted something new for the day. I taught my 1st graders the panda dance as a "get the wiggles out" activity. They loved it. It may catch on and become a new dance craze!
I love all the pictures. I wish I had a huge starbucks cup for my garbage can. I can't wait for you to return.
